This is Bliss! is has an ethereal appearance of golds and pinks in a dream-like setting fraught with heavily textured papers and iridescent paints. This original, one of a kind collage is unlike any you have ever seen before. I call this technique "painting with paper" where I apply different shapes and colors to the piece just as I would apply paint with a brush. The work is a combination of many different elements including a feather, fibers, imported papers and paint. The subject is a photo transfer of a vintage photograph that depicts a woman in a tall pointed hat with a blissful smile on her face. | | | |
