This is an original, one-of-a-kind mixed media collage that is comprised of many different layered elements to present a unique composition that I was unable to fully capture via photography simply because of the way the light bounces back and forth across the surface. It was constructed in stages with many layers of modeling compound, gel medium, papers, handwriting samples, inks, metallic paints, a photo transfer, sticks, raffia and other ephemera that ll combined in ways that create a whimsical portrait of a young cowgirl on a pony that has red hooves. It is very rich in detail and texture and combines both the illusions of antiquity and contemporary abstract styles. | | | Certified Member of EBSQ Self-Representing Artists | | |
