Description:Oil paint on canvas. 25" X 35". A 'watercolour' style imitation of the watery 1684 original (taken from a photographic reproduction). Unfortunately, I didn't have reproductions of Ruisdael's lovely pen and ink studies of the water in motion to work from so have produced a fanciful interpretation rather than a study.
