Description:Granny was a person I never knew. I painted a number of portraits of her from a found photo album in a thrift store. Inside, written in gold marker stated, "To Granny. 1996". I assumed she had died and the family simply removed whatever mementos she had, giving them away to the second hand stores. This one, I suppose, can be called "multimedia". Aside from the oils, the yellow area where Granny's face comes in is raised off the surface with a 1 x 3 piece of pine.
