Description:This is one from the "Tucson days". I spent the month of February 2005 in Arizona's coolest desert city. BICAS is short for Bicycle Inter-Community Art and Salvage. BICAS is a non-profit community cooperative dedicated to promoting and recycling bicycles, bicycle awareness, and bicycle art and culture. If you are in Portland, it's like a hybrid of North Portland Bike Works and CCC, with a li'l Clown House/CHUNK/Zoobomb thrown in for good measure. Every last Saturday of every month, BICAS hosts a bike ride and bike in movie, where a bike-related film is shown. For more about BICAS, go to http://www.consensus.net/about_bicas.html I volunteered to do a flyer for them, hence this drawering. This one was pretty much all done by hand (pencil and tech pens), with a li'l clean up on the Photoshop. The woman on bike image is based on an old photo from Amsterdam in the 1950's.
