Description:Yet another flyer for New Haven based promoter Rick Omonte (ex-Spring Heeled Jack member) and his weekly Sunday music series at BAR, a club in the Elm City. http://www.barnightclub.com/ And like the last three, I seemed to be cursed by the "draw a cute girl" syndrome. Just shoot me. This flyer is based on an image I found in a library book in Tucson, Ariz. of all places. Being the geek I am, I photocopied the pic to use for a later date, this being the later date. I like the utter ridiculous of it, the "space age" secretary typing on a computer from the early 80's. And despite the flyer's "space age" bent, this one was done completely without the aid of computers (except for scanning it in to put on Sito!), drawn with tech pens, photocopied, and then colored with color ed pencils. Drawn totally in coffee shops in Madison, Wisconsin. And sorry, no stripey socks, scarves, or Chuck Taylors.
