Including Gillian Beck and Shelley Pearson (Joy of Quizzing), Sarah Bartash (Belle Lettres), Nickey Robo (Impavid), Jack Saturn (We Ain't Got No Car!), Katie Cercone (Ms. Directions), Joe Biel (Microcosm Publishing), Nicole Georges (Invincible Summer), Sarah Swingset (Swingset Girl), Lani Schreibstein, and Theresa Molter (Can't Stop the World). Our extra special guest this evening is Frank Portman from the Mr. T Experience, who will be reading from his recently published novel, King Dork. Appropriately enough, this is Mr. Portman's first novel, and it's a coming-of-age story starring the kind of kid who might have published his own angst-ridden zine. Unlike most zines however, the long-awaited King Dork is getting rave reviews from the likes of Entertainment Weekly, San Francisco Chronicle, School Library Journal, Publisher's Weekly and Bookslut!
