Description:Tuscany is a charmed land, equally blessed by the genius of man and nature. This mixed media on canvas is a conglomeration of oil, acrylic and various catalysts to emanate intensity. High pigment paint in shades of rich burgundy and deep indigo blue conveys a representation of "le vrai Cahors"-the tannic red wine Peter the Great admired. The textured pale yellow ochre is meant to convey an image of a mountain Villa. This piece is gallery~wrapped over a 1" board-mount frame of my own design. You may choose to use additional framing according to your taste-but it is not necessary.
