Description: Gouache and watercolor on paper 12"x 9" My older brother passed away when I was 13, from a hit-&-run accident. In College, in a South Asian Art & Architecture class, I opted to create an art piece instead of writing a paper for my last project. I used Jahangir's portrait as a model, even down to the size of the paper (although his artists worked on a far more minute detail than I).
(FYI for the Unlearned: Jahangir ruled India in the 1600's & was considered to be one of the greatest rajas in Indian history. He also had some of the most GORGEOUS and PHENOMENAL portraits I'd ever seen painted.)
