In the last stages of a sorted past, it’s vestiges of life are all but gone. Lying in wait, deep within the decay and destruction, a faint trace of a former life still smolders. This is not a place of rest or peace but rather something else, darker. The locals in the nearest town told stories of what happened here that were never really clear nor complete, and never in agreement. Now within the foundations fallen stones, hair hackles stand on end. Stained walls with graffiti tattoos smell of ash and brimstone. This is a place of secrets never told, buried within, writhing to get out.
