Description:24" x 12" transparent watercolor on Rives BFK paper Lived in Waimanalo HI for five years. This image is based on my concern for the health of sea life in Keeahi Lagoon, near Honolulu International Airport. According to articles in the Honolulu newspaper, plutonium and other dangerous waste were leaked by Naval vessels. Researchers also noted hearing loss and disorientation of aquatic species due to heavy air traffic.
