Description:6'X4' oil paint on plywood. Ad image is acrylic on plexiglass, bolted to plywood underpainting. The first in the series which includes TheClevelandIndian and IndianPlaySet. Intended as parody. A revered photo-image created by a studio photographer at the turn of the century is then overlayed with a modern ad-style image. Both rather fake and pop. The original intention was to snap new B&W photos of the completed works, maybe create a calender or some such thing, but the project never made it that far.
