Description: 6"x 18", -x12", -x12" roach motels; papyrus & tamarind papers, gold thread, typeset: handmade stamps. In Brooklyn, roaches grew up with us. I loved my childhood however gross it was. In the largest image, the text reads: "I hated going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. It wasn't seeing all the roaches run out of the light that creeped me out so much. It was walking barefoot in the dark not knowing if I would step on one."
