Description:This flower is a result of rage and frustration over some forgotten project that seemed important at the time. I needed a small victory, something that I could acomplish without a problem. A tiny creation of beauty without struggle. A break. So I cut a piece of soft mahogany on my bandsaw, and shaped it easily with flowing strokes of the blade. Then I stained it with nice bright colored oil stains, and I was happy. I have no recollection of what the other project was, or whether I finished it. It wasn't easy, though. And it can't have been important, or I would remember it.
