Jonesboro, Georgia, where she spent summers at her grandparents, was the inspiration for the location of Margaret Mitchel's best selling novel "Gone With the Wind". It is home to landmarks such as Mundy’s Mill, Rex Mill (in nearby Rex, Ga.), Jonesboro Depot, and Dean’s Barbecue. Commissioned in 1980, these pencil drawings depict these well known landmarks as they appeared at the time. 14.25” x 17”, signed and numbered by the artist. $65.00/each, $200/complete set.
