Emerald Eyes
She wakes from a dream, assimilating the twilight of her room before falling back again. She knows what she saw isn't real, but that doesn't alleviate the fear, the fascination or the hunger. The sun will wake her again soon, but until then, it's back to the iciness behind her eyes, below her skin.
