Description: Linoprint on Japanese Paper 9"x 6" I grew up in a tiny apartment in Brooklyn, NY (in Bushwick, for all you NY'ers out there). 4 children and 2 adults, 2 bedrooms and barely a backyard. Crowded inside, crowded outside. The only sanctuary though for only half the time was our broomcloset-size bathroom. ... aaaahhhhhh. peaceful. silence. solitude. sitting on the toilet remains the gorgeous experience for me. it facilitates epiphanies.
